Have you got everything back out of that bay yet? Or are you waiting on having everything mounted so you won't need to drill anymore holes in your fresh paint?
    Haha.. Yeah it's taking forever.

Yes I want to have everything done so that when I pull it out and paint it, it'll just be a reassembly job (I hope). It's your run of the mill "Build it twice" deal.

Went to see the radiator dudes this week. They have my tanks... That's about it. I told them to Hurry TFU. haha. I'm going to see them tomorrow and say "just build it and give me the bill, screw the quote".

I spoke to the old man about that.. Considering the latest VWMA is out and I haven't fired it off yet (next one is supposed to be about getting it in and running- News to me, Craig! haha).

He said "Well what are you waiting for?" I said, radiator etc etc. He said "Who says you need a radiator to start it!"- Fair point really. So, i've been told to rip the engine and box out, fit a flywheel and clutch and stick the thing back in. It has everything else to start it, so there should be no dramas..

Watch this space. (Don't really.. Who knows how long i'll take. Ha!)

Got the rad for a test fit today (and thermo fan).

    Here's some crappy phone pics...

There's a couple of small things to sort out, but over all it's pretty sweet. Quite happy with the size and design.

Ah yes, the joys of setllements!

I'm up to my 3rd place now and it never gets any easier.
Thats been my reason for slow or no progress with my cars. Its all my wifes fault of course. If she didn't keep finding new places, I wouldn't have to renovate them. haha

Look forward to your progress with the Mk 1

Ah home ownership. Chris the main aim in the long run is to have a shed bigger than the house. Well that's what I'm hoping for one day.
    Cheers
    Geoff
