I don't really understand your reasoning on this?
You have "coilovers" which are "height adjustable"
You also have coilovers which don't have compression or rebound adjustment.
No matter if you wind them up or down, I'm pretty sure the ride will be the same. Like Dom's mk1. (don't have to say it, you already know)

Your have a good point & it does make sense.
But normally with coilovers, you can wind the car right down to the point of driveshafts rubbing etc., & still have good suspension travel (bar the driveshafts smashing on the framework) without getting near touching the bumpstops.
I've had mine wound nearly all the way down & till had a fair bit of room lift before hitting the bump stops.
Plus with how stiff the springs rates normally are on coilovers, there isn't a hell of alot of travel to start with.
If it's an everydayer that you travel alot of km's each day, I'd be looking more into some balljoint extenders & tie rod flip kit to eliminate bump steer with big & wider wheels, as that is a pain in the arse!
Obviously with stock sized wheels & tyres, there isn't a great deal of this problem, if any.

I guess one thing also is the rear's will still be standard so you don't get the travel gain there, unless that never much of an issue?

It's not night and day, but the extra travel in the suspension makes the front end slightly less harsh.
I wanted to be about 20mm lower than what I was before, but I knew winding down to that height would compromise drive quality (severly) as I had previous experienced in Dom's car. The spacers mean I've got an extra ~40mm travel, meaning I can raise the coils for a slightly better ride & still have the car lower. Now I need a shortened driveshaft (LHS), clearance for the RHS driveshaft, beat out the green gaurd (rubs slightly) and possibly a spare sump.
I'd love to get ball joint spacers & flipped tie rods, but the coin doesn't allow that atm.

I noticed a HUGE difference in drive quality between a -60mm and -80mm drop.
Went from reasonably nice to OMG! WTF??
but I got used to it quickly cos I loved the stance
