    James was a true dubber and rode {25min drive atleast!} to my place yesterday to help with some sanding + company. Got stuck into it, still plenty of work left yet.

    Need to buy more sand paper then more sanding tomorrow. Stu's coming round sunday to help get some welding done {read: do all the welding!}

    I'll take some more pics tomorrow, hopefully, it'll be nearly completely stripped! {of panels}

    I got the front right door off. Nothing a little bit of angry grinder action can't fix!

    a day of ups and downs. I was getting really PO'd that I couldn't get the front gaurd off, cause of all the seam sealer.

    but alas.

    a good 3 hours later (all up really) and hey presto, it's off! rust isn't too bad, mostly surface, but the bottom of the gaurd needs patching. Can't believe how much dirt is stuck up under there! Luckily with all that seam sealer, there's no holes on the inner gaurd. yay.

    so now, I'm happy again.

    pics:

    'Progress' shot: all bar the bonnet, right gaurd and 1 door the car's stripped. still plenty of work for next week though!

    p.s. my 'o' is working again now! yay again.

    more stuff.

    finally got both front fenders off, real struggle, but needed to be done, and were a bit of a mamoth task. nothing like that on my old 76'er.

    also, thanks to dad, got the rear pass door off,. one of the bolts sheard, infact 2 did, but 1 I got out, the other had to be drilled.

    Car is now stripped of all hanging panels. I'm happy at the moment. hopefully make some more good progress this week, before the tennis;.

    Pics:

    this was the bolt that was being a bugger.

    all the dirt from under the gaurd. purely stupid amounts. Had to clean up the whole place afterwards, no probs but. don't ge me started on the seam sealer! oh the hate.

    As she sits now.

    wish me luck for the next week
