cheers Neil. I still havn't polished it completely yet,. you can tell in some of the pics.

I'm still having an issue with the batt/alt, as I ran out of electricity last night again. Had the lights on for maybe an hour, without the car on. Battery was at 11v.

I swapped batt's with Josh, so I could get home, and now my batt [after josh's alt charging it last night] is back up to 12.6ish v. When running, it's reading 13.6-7v, which would imply that the alternator is still working.

The accesory belt, is practically the same tightness [spelling] as on Joshs. I'm a bit stumped really, do I have an open circuit in my car somewhere perhaps? or are dead glow plugs sapping too much juice?

    where should I start looking?

EDIT: 7:00pm, just checked the battery, 12.35v. Will check again tomorrow, see what's what.

    Talking

if your multi meter has amps select 200 mamps
remove one battery lead conect multi meter to battery post and
the other lead to the lead
have everything off the multi meter should not read over .04 mamps
if it does remove one fuse at a time till you find the curcuit with a drain
    hope that helps you Jarrad

i did this. multi meter initally read 1. [perhaps maybe as in overload for the 200mA setting.] Went through the fuses, [none are damaged] and pulled the 8th fuse [from the left] and then the reading went to zero. put the fuse back in and now the multi meter reads 0.00. did i just fix my first elctrical problem?!?

alternator is charging, quickly fired her up, and the voltage jumped to 13.5sh. So all is well in that respect.
