A little progress this evening..

Subframe with Brakes etc basically ready to be re-installed


All suspended and installed... (just need to replace one of the Captive Nuts on the LHS for the subframe rear bolt.. its stripped unfortunately!


Nice Super Sprint Headers all bolted up to the Block and the Rear Engine Mounting Point!

Changed the Cambelt at lunch break today and bolted up the secondary part of the headers

Waiting for **** to arrive and having serpentine belt alignment issues grrr....

Intake Manifold back from powdercoaters now textured black with colour matched inset letters (to the blue brake calipers)



All new Injector Inserts Seals and guides installed while it was all apart!

Fixed the fubarred captive nut for the subframe yesterday.. re mounted the subframe torqued it all up





Installed the Electric window regs and tested them!

Ran the loom for the electric windows

Removed the fender aerial and blanked that plug hole off..

Started welding up the rust hole in the door



Installed new CVs on the freshly powdercoated driveshafts but forgot to slide the rubber blancer thingy back on to it... ooops


Other **** i got powder coated!

Just one last pic of the powder coating.. cos i think it just looks so damn sex...



The engine is edging closer to being re installed.. need the gearbox.. pick up new clutch and flywheel kit tomorrow..



Need to finish the wiring for the central locking and electrick windows and then the interior can start going back in!

And start fitting up various other bits and peices... sunroof seal.. new cable shifter etc etc...

And now the engine and gearbox are intercoursal again!


Oh yeah hooked up the new belts!
