    Thats why we had to use custom rods. If we were to use 144mm rods, it would push the piston down= to less compression like you said. Thats if you were using a 82.5mm piston. Audi 1.9 has a lower pin position in the piston, hence why it wont lose compression using a 144mm rod.

    i've always been curious about the twin master cylinder set up... where are you sourcing it from if you don't mind me asking?

    Where not going to be running the twin master cylinder yet. This is a temporally fun thing. Car will be striped to bare metal to complete resto, and go on from there. Then we will install twin master cylinders and bit and pieces like that.

    I've got a certificate from Wolfsburg that tells me everything about it. And I'm pretty sure it say's GTI.
