    i'm running a high comp 8v atm... they're silly motors to drive around in... 16v stock...? good bye 20vt mk2 scirocco..

    Bits and pieces...

    Ground Control- Top strut Camber plates



    Stress bars/sway bars



    Bottom end nearly done, trigger disc also in.



    Rear camber plates, -.5 degrees.


    Pauter rods and pistons.

    i think those bars up there are stress bars..? like for tying suspension towers and chassis stiffening.

    looks good mate. sounds like it'll be good fun to drive

    Yeah, they are stress bars, I just tend to call the sway bars.

    Cause we will have the rear bar for the harnesses, I think it will help with the stress on the rear end so no need for a rear bar. Good point but (:

    The block is from my dads old GTI, short block 144mm.

    I think he was talking about the sway bar the goes along the rear axle. I would have thought a sway bar does more good than a stress brace on the rear?

    Whats the benefit of the added negative camber on the rear?

    Are you guna engineer and road register it? Should be prity zippy when its finaly done.
