Nice.
It'll be good to see something other than a mk 1 with a resto/mod thread! haha
Love the car too. Looks tops.
Well i though i was over tinkering with cars so when i bought a mk4 gti for the other half to drive i looked for one with a few mods already so i didnt have to do anything cept for servicing..........well it didnt last long as i have already ordered a handfull of bits for it but though id post some pics of my tinkerings
The car so far
from seaching the net i found out a fair bit of the details of the car which was a big pluss although the service history is a little cloudy so first up is a timing kit from ecs so i can change waterpump at the same time .....and unfortunatly for me i decided to have a quick poke around the ecs site and ended up purchasing a turbo inlet pipe and a stack of other stuff.
While i was in the mood for buying stuff i bought a front mount which arrived in the mail today and if my son had his way we would have started to install it
right away
Still waiting on the ecs stuff to arrive then il get started
More pics to come

The best mk4 i have seen on this site!
I have to say the that kink in the bonet where the badge used to be is one thing that shiz me.
Should be interesting to see what happens to it.

sounds nice, though howcome that image looks chopped to me?!
Looks great.
Is the height the only thing that's been Photo-shopped because the front valence looks a little off near the fender edge, for a stock valence? and the ground under the car doesn't seem to match with the background in the rest of the picture.
Very nice lighting effect on the side and body of the car, it could almost pass as pro studio lighting for a product shot in a promotional brochure.
What size and offset are your wheels, they look great?

Befor/after the contrast has been brought up more in the background which could explain why it looks funny ,but the rest of the car apart from height is how it is
