It Begins: The S3 1.8T into my '85 Mk2 GTI

A little update.

Went in for one last mapping tweak on the haltech on Tuesday at RPW. Nothing much to report, just smoother boost delivery and fuelling wich has ironed out the little dead spots from pulling down low, and he's managed to pull more power at the same time.

Official power is now 263hp at the front wheels, so thats enough now!! After seeing how the E46 M3 was really struggling to live with the speed or handling of the mk2 last sunday on the araluen cruise, I'm pretty happy!

I will need to isolate the air filter and sheild it from the heat as intake temps got up to around 60 degrees....

Anyways, its body and interior mostly now.

Haha, yeah its still going strong mate, and yes it's slowly rattling itself apart.
I have some major plans on the "build whiteboard" brewing for next year. Money, money, money...
