Ok, ok!
Haven't been updating this because there's not really much to report
The legend that is roccodingo has the gearbox/diff, i'm sourcing a mechanical clutch actuator/lever from SEAT in Barcelona (yep, that's right!) Cheaper than using local dealers even with trade discount!
Once all that is ready a space in the shop will be cleared and Joe and I will get stuck in. I'm doing my best to kill the RV engine to make an excuse to speed up the transplant but the friggin thing wont die. More burnouts are needed. It is now using more water than fuel though, and has some painfully loud rattles and grinding sounds coming from the bottom end... kids today, so wasteful
Also getting some 60mm silicone bends and billet charge pipe sussed ready to measure up and fit.
Got the new crank pulley/dampener on and alternator
and I ennded up having to remove some material from the rear engine bracket to accomodate the bloody turbo breather. Hopefully it hasn't weakened the bracket too much...
And here's my new design for the BMW E30 15x7's. It's a bit rough up close but i'll probably change it it a year or so.
