bah i really dont like the older style split window front doors. dont know why youd want to put them on :S small bumpers with the newer doors will look good.

Engine should bolt into the Mk2 pretty easy.
Are you gonna go factory loom and ecu, or aftermarket?
Your Grey doors would be ideal for Jay Jays early car may even be the same colour. I reckon the big front windows and small bumpers will be the best.
What piece do you need for the front, i have most of a small bumper one here. Plus an o2a box or 2

I'm trying to go for a nice balanced looking car. I need the 5 door because i have to be able to load my drum gear in and out easily and quickly.
I havent decided for sure which front doors but the little quarter glass in the old front doors matches the rear door quarter glass. It might sound weird but to my eyes the styling seems to work better when its balanced and visual "themes" are rounded off. On the other hand, the single glass doors have elec mirrors and i like the newer mirror shape and position. We shall see...
Matt, i'll check out whats around locally for an 02A before buying interstate Also will wait and see if I can straighten the front bumper out a bit before replacing. Same goes for the front guards. Apparently big bumper cars have different front guards to small bumper ones

Yep! It was crashed by a dude on the ozaudi forum. He was goin about 100kph down a Brissie highway when some dude ran a red light through an intersection! The S3 cleaned him up at full tilt and flipped over The red light runner was killed.

Probably easier for that car. Get the proper loom built for the car and plug away. I`m gonna use the same for my Rocco 20VT.

Yep. Whats the back up service like for Qpeng? I dont really wanna tune it too much as 270bhp will be quite enough!
Is the front small bumper a GTI one? And do you have the plastic grille panel for under the bumper along with the lower metal panel? Also will need the front splitter if ya got one

I am reckoning that you wouldn't need any back up. If they are any good the loom would be tested out fully, as should the ECU.

The only unknown for me, would be the actual software they load into it not being perfect for our hot climate.

Shouldn't be any bother getting 270 out of it, a decent FMIC and big downpipe and exhaust will help no end.

    Gavin
