looking good! Be interesting to know how it goes all tuned! Its the end of the road now!
Looking good, good to see you got the front bar.
Good work mate! I'd been hoping to get down to the VWCWA display on Sunday but couldn't make it. The front looks naked, needs a splitter stat!!! :D
Well after changing the tank and spending $330 on a fuel pump, there is absolutely no difference and it still runs hell lean on boost. Dave at RPW reckons it has to be ecu map related looking at the behaviour of the boost/fuel mix graph.
Pretty pissed off. I fired off a slightly frosty email to QPEng and they are sending some sofware files to map the thing. So much for "plug n play"!
Here's the printout. Any thoughts???

My next jobs are to replace anything related to fuelling; all the vacuum lines from/to the MAP sensor, the fuel pressure reg, I think i'll delete the mk2 fuel accumulator as it's not necessary, and I'll try a new oxy sensor too, although that only really functions during closed loop running (off boost), and its fine down there. Coupled with the tune, I'm hoping that should sort it out once and for all...
Cheers,
Wade
Wade, Having thought about it, I am going to agree with your dyno man. You should be able to prove it pretty quickly, once you have the tuning software. A good read of Dave Walkers book will see you right.
I'd add 20% everywhere on boost just as a quick check. It'll blow a heap of smoke most likely but you'll know straight away. You can trim it out then.

Awesome job on the whole build. ill be following for the final dyno reading :)
Woes of an engine swap... on my first engine swap, I didnt realise my radiator fan's fuse was blown.. and nearly fried the engine in the process driving to work in traffic (day 2... of driving it).
