And I received the following from Klii MotorWerkes...
Candy White rear inlay badge inserts!
And so I attempted the DIY fitment...
From some guides across the net, I thought it wouldn't be so bad.
The hardest part is getting thebadge off. You have to lock the car and lift the badge so it doesn't open the boot.
Then a very very very tiny flat screwdriver is pressed under the chrome emblem and wedged slowly until you hear a pop. The bottom section lifts up and I slowly wedge it open some more until I can get an old credit card or a small plastic ruler in there. I continue to work the plastic ruler until the whole badge pops off.
You are then left with a dirty section that must be properly cleaned before sticking on the Klii inlay.
Some thinners and a clean cloth did the trick.
And then I stuck the candy white inlay as carefully as possible!
The badge just presses and clicks back in. Definitely way easier to put back than take off.
And the result...

looks clean mate, good work...
Felt it was time to give my car a full detail again. Was a bit lazy and work kept me from having energy to keep my R maintained every weekend.
The paintwork had one or two spots which felt like overspray. I don't know where this would have come from, but getting it off was a task!
After claying and some cutting from Turtle Wax, followed by a good polish and then sealing the car off with a great wax from Meguiars, this result came out:

And I did another cam follower inspection and replaced the bucket at the same time...
28k mileage. Approx 15k/16k since I last changed it. The APR pump really is very mild on my cam follower. Old one on the left. I reckon it was still fine! The marks on the old follower was when I used toilet paper to wipe the old oil off.
As some of you know how thorough and careful I am with the car.... I replaced the seal and the bolts as well.
And some pics over the holiday time.
With a friend's R from.Maritzburg outside our gym...
With a friend of mine's Honda Type R (H22 conversion)
And with a very close buddy of mine's recently bought Polo 6R GTI.

And I bought myself the snow foam cannon and valetpro snowfoam bundle.
Got busy with another detail on my R...
The Foam is pretty good. Also doesn't strip the wax that's been laid on the car already.
Job done... This is with no extra polish or wax applied. Been a month since I last waxed her...
