Amazing shots in a stunning area in SA. I live just up the road in Fouriesdurg when i was a kid and always wanted to enjoy the roads. I bet you have lots of fun with that beast.

And I attended Dubrun 2015 this year.
Taped up my R for protection and got a bit creative for the 'look'
The morning as we fueled up to go. My local buddies also taped up and joining the run.
We met with the convoy halfway at Harrismith...
And we proceeded down to the awesome coastal air of KZN! These shots courtesy of the photographers that joined in on Dubrun.
Arriving in KZN. We stayed in a holiday house where friends from JHB also joined. Rommies with his Revo K04 GTI and Andy with his Z4M.
Besides having an incredible social weekend, we had fun with the cars too. We attended one of the Dubrun events which was a Dyno Day hosted by Stealth.
My car's figures on the Stealth dyno. I was very happy. I also took 2nd place for the strongest 2.0T with stock turbo!
Some shots of our cars at Gateway Mall
Also had a chance to hook up with some of the awesome bunch from the BMW Fanatics club. Some runs were done and we had great fun!
Ended up getting called to 2 runs with a M135i running JB4 and an E92 M3 with full AC Schnitzer exhaust.
All runs are 2nd gear rolling from 60km/h. Here are the vids...

Some updates...
I got a good deal on a second hand set of OZ Ultraleggeras in 19x8 and in gloss black. There are a few chips here and there that I touched up but wheels are straight and solid. The way that I am, they will be refurbed to perfection in the near future.
They were purchased with Achilles tyres on which I had removed immediately to transfer the Yokohama rubber on my VMRs. Here I got a chance to weigh the wheels. 11.5kg (25.4lbs) for the 19" VMR compared to the 9kg (20lbs) OZ wheel! And this wheel isn't even HLT! The HLT marking would have been on the wheel if it were. But I now know why OZ wheels are so awesome. You can easily notice the difference when holding the OZ in one hand and the VMR in other.
Fitment was done at our local Tiger Wheel and Tyre which is located right next to my VW dealership. Excuse the dirty car pics. We had some rains in the past few days.
Took the car home, gave it a quick clean and snapped this. Difficult to catch the wheels on a photo cause they are so dark. But to me they look great in the flesh.
And close ups of the wheels. Shows off my ECS 2 piece rotors and painted calipers nicely!

JA Porra,
bloody everywhere aren't you.
With all this, I will have to get a build log going just so I can post the OZ's as well.
Ever thought of making the OZ's grey like the VMR's??

And some parts arrived...
My big turbo kit from APR... Big thanks to Malcolm from VAG Motorsport for the pics. Sucks to stay so far from my nearest APR dealer.
Complete full kit with GTX2867R turbo, gaskets, feed lines, piping, LPFP controller, etc.
Malcolm has assured me everything is there. Just awaiting arrival of my TSI Carbonio intake front section.

278 kw not enough? How much power will you be expecting with the new turbo?

And with the public holiday in place, I took advantage of it and made arrangements to take my R through...
My one buddy drove behind me with my daily so I could leave my R with Malcolm at VAG Motorsport. (My closest APR dealer which is still around 300 kilometres / 180 miles away from me)
Big thank you to Malcolm for opening up on a public holiday and letting me drop the car. Being self employed, it's not always easy to make trips for personal stuff.
Upon arrival, I witnessed Malcolm's shop for the first time. Very clean, professionally done and best of all safe. First thing to give one a bit of confidence with entrusting your pride and joy on a build like this.
And luckily, I even got to to look and touch the goodies going into my R. Seeing as once they are all fitted you will never see them.
First impressions of the APR BT kit. This kit is phenomenally well built. Everything is there from gaskets to seals to shields and bolts/nuts. Very well made up kit. The feed lines are of extreme high quality!
Couldn't get enough of this cast manifold. Just had to take another snap. Also very confident there won't be leaks and issues around this section as it's not a welded setup.
And I took a peak at my Low Pressure Fuel Pump kit from APR. It's basically an Auxilliary 2nd pump that is installed and it runs off a controller that gets mounted in front. The other nice part of this kit is because it runs on the fuel line, it has a section that you can disconnect and drain all your fuel out. Leaving you with the option of filling your tank with either 20L of pump/OB1 or race fuel.
Well, that's it for now. More pics will be uploaded as I requested by Malcolm while they strip and do the build.
