Congrats Pete on a trouble-free track debut. I was a amazed and over-whelmed by the quality and work that has gone in to this machine. Love it! Looking forward to seeing it in action again soon.
I'll put up some more pics soon.

Thanks Paul,
The last couple of weeks have been pretty frantic finishing up a lot of little bits and pieces.
There's still a lot more development to do, today's outing was mostly a shake down run.
This the first time the car's been driven.
All in all it went pretty well. I had the brake biasing wrong in the first session and spun it a couple of times.
I also found that the brake bias bar was fouling on the accelerator which caused me to run down the exit road twice.
Cameras and data loggers are giving me grief but I'll soon figure that out.
I was just cruising it around to bed in brakes, and put some miles on the motor.
There's a lot of potential in the motor, it's got a very conservative tune at the moment and the rev limiter is set at 7000.
Here's some pics.
More whem I'm more awake.

amazing work pete, great work to get it to the track!!
kamei looks right at home
Great stuff Peter looking fantastic...so happy for you to see her finaly out on track.
Really looking forward to the seasons updates.
Peter you need to get a decal on that front spoiler
Great pics Peter though that top down one by driven-threads does it for me.
I only fitted and painted the spoiler the day before the race!
There's still more work to be done on it to extend the sides back to the arches.
I've got the decals for the spoiler, hopefully I'll get it fixed up for the next race.

Might be a bit technical for here, but one of the challenges I've got at the moment is getting the data logger and dash to correctly interpret the CAN bus data from the ECU.
Some data streams like water temperature are pre-scaled so that the data stream contains the temperature in degrees celcius.
Other things like pressures appear to pass through the voltage reading at the sensor or it might just be scaled in a unit I'm not expecting like mm/hg or something.
Also complicating things is the way that the data logger reads and writes to it's compact flash card means that it can pick up previous configs even if you think you've deleted them.
The RPM readout needs some figuring out too.
The ECU has an RPM output that is configurable to how many pulses per revolution it outputs. The dash has an input that is likewise configurable. Both are are set to 2 pulses/rev but the display is reading about 1/2 the RPMs.
I'm going to have to bust out the oscilloscope to figure out which one is wrong.
I hard wired power chargers to the 2 gopro cameras I've setup in the cabin as well as a wifi remote but it looks like the gopro 3 doesn't like running off a fixed power supply and is doing some erratic stuff. The gopro 2 seems to be working alright though. I'll see what I can salvage of the video and bung it up on youtube.

With regard to the brakes, they work well but they're going to take some getting used to.
In the first session I had the bias adjusted too much to the rear and hitting them hard turned me around twice, once into turn one and again at Honda.
I came off the track and set the bias to it's maximum forward setting which caused another problem. The bias bar between front and rear master cylinders fouled the accelerator pedal under full brakes causing the car to rev out when I was hard on the brake pedal.
Initially I thought it was catching on the accelerator pedal but it was actually pushing the accelerator pedal forwards.
It took me two rounds to figure that out and readjust the pedals correctly.
I think I need to re-engineer the brake pedal too, it seems a bit spindly and is easily bent side to side.
I've got very strong legs and I reckon there's a chance I could mangle the brake pedal the way it is.
With no booster it's all down to how hard you can press on the pedal.
I notice OBP has changed the design of the brake pedal arm since I bought my pedal box.

Great work Pete!
Congrats on getting it to the track and having a (seemingly) pretty successful day!
The amount of hours you've poured into this is incredible and it really shows off your abilities and committment!
It really looks great out on the track, like it's meant to be there!
