Great work mate. Wasnt as hard as i thought it would be. I had the same problem with the stud, where i over tightened it and it snapped. However i just welded it the beam, and leftover stud. If i need to remove, ill just grind away haha.

Oh and pete, is it possible i take you up on the offer for parts off the half cut? I really need a stock exhaust, as mine is driving me crazy hehe. Is that exhaust usable, or is the stuff inside that keeps it quiet, needs to be replaced?

I don't think I've got any mufflers in good enough condition to be bothered with sorry. Try an exhaust place, a rear universal muffler is pretty cheap.

Good work getting that beam sorted Carl!

put the rear beam in tonight, pretty happy with how it fits and measures up.
still need to re-build the rear brakes, then it will be back on its feet...

I used to go out on saturday nights.
