    Wtac 2013

After entering the 2012 WTAC with the R32 and being totally outclassed with turbo cars Ive decided to finish off the monster S3 project Ive had here for a few years . It still holds the KO4 record (for the 1.8T) with a 13.7 and unless someone can correct me it still holds the fastest S3 with a 12.6 . Since then its had a full engine build with a stage 5 CTS Turbo kit modified to suit RHD (one of the very first development kits ) . Its now undergoing a complete fuel system upgrade to E-85 , brake upgrade and a drastic diet . Ive entered the 500m sprint , with the only other Euro being a twin turbo Lambhorghini ! Given the rest of the field having a minimum of 700hp (some with over 1200hp !) its going to be a tough ask to make sure I stay out of last place ! Car should have around 800hp but as usual its going to weigh less than 1200kg (would like to get it around 1100kg !)

So who is driving this beast ? Well Aimee has put her hand up . With a bit of driving experience in the past and a strong athletic background she fits the seat perfectly .

Not sure about the sprints but considering the detail in the circuit class rules I would say so.

There are restrictions in each class , but I think the biggest restriction is that any Euro car that enters is generally outclassed due to lack of power . You pretty much need 500hp+ to be competitive in the lower categories !

Thanks , although I prefer drag racing it seems there isnt any other VAG workshop Australia wide that can build a competitive time attack car . For those who did the supersprint the other week , to run midfield in the lowest class youd need to be running 1.07s or better at wakefield !

I was down at wakefield a year ago when the BYP EG civic pulled a flat 1:03. Pretty incredible how quick some of these time attack cars are - that was still NA too, 240hp@wheels FWD EG civic. They weren't even running a roll cage lol.
