Silver MKV GTI @ Wakefield July 11th?

G'day all,

Just wondering if anyone here owns the Silver MKV Golf GTI that was doing the rounds at Wakefield Park on Friday (July 11th)?

I tried to have a chat but they left about lunch time and I didn't get a chance to say G'day.

That aside, the Polo ran very nicely on a slightly damp track (it was sprinkling rain and bitterly cold for most of the day) - best lap was a 1:14.2 which was nearly 2 seconds quicker than my last outing in the Polo. With some R-spec tyres hopefully I can get that down a bit further next time around.

1:14 is a good time mate.... as a comparison, my buddy was there in a VT clubbie in class trim and the best they ran was 1:10:45 i think... thats with bilstein coils, full cage, racing bridgestones and 230kw...
