Dont want to turn this into an argument mate but you can use a raod car at Phillip Island, Morewell, Calder, Winton etc and get easy 2 hours lap time for under $150. That is enough to ware out any of us.

$350 to drive at 80% on a raod any of us can drive any day of the week. Doesnt appeal to me but may appeal to others.

I am not putting the event down in any way but its not a cheap form of motorsport.

Bit rich for me I'm afraid, unless someone wants to sponsor the slowest car on the track to the tune of $3000.

You'll get plenty of exposure for your advertising dollar though! Far better than putting your company logo on the fastest car

Generally speaking I stay away from events that cost more to enter than my car cost to buy.

Sure looks like fun though, wish I had the resources to enter.

Used to be Porsche only I believe. Friends of mine did it in a 964 & a great time they had too

I went in 2006, and it was awesome!! Even got to help out Jim Richards with his loose wheel nuts...
There was a guy competeing in a Beetle RSI which sounded insane!! We found an awesome spot on the hairpin near just before Buller Village.
Also, when we went, it was free to watch.
