Yea and i'm sure the webber-bashers (usually clueless tossers who know much less than they think) will be crapping on about how he stacked into Lewis.
The fact is he was trying hard to put on a good show, get as far up as he could for the Aussie crowd and he knew the only way was to pass on track. He says he lost a bit of downforce from being close behind and wasn't expecting Lewis to turn across so late.
Good on Webber for pushing hard trying to get a better result. I reckon its better he finishes 9th while having a serious crack at a podium, than just plodding along to settle for 6th.

When he came out from his pit stop for the option tyres a gearbox glitch stuck him in 2nd gear, but once it was sorted he was half a second faster PER SECTOR than anyone else on the track!!

Was a pretty sweet race overall though. I feel bad for Vettel, but I like Jenson and it's good to see him beat Lewis. Also good to see that sweet looking Renault get 2nd!

The Renault looks funny in the flesh but sounds DIVINE! Some of the other cars sounded a bit funny (especially the williams units) but the Renault purred and sang like none others.

Got home tonight on Jetstar and am already thinking about when my next F1 adventure might be. The whole experience was simply too good to not go again some day!!

Webber fastest in final practice after engine failure yesterday. Hamilton very close behind followed by Vettel.
Should be tight quali coming up after fuel loads have been sorted!

    POLE BABY!
Great decision to go out on inters and time it till the end when the track was dryest. He was the only one out there on them!
Pretty brave stuff but not much to lose at 7th.

Well Webber pretty much handed that race to Vettel at the first 2 corners. Dissapointing for webber, but i enjoyed the race

Yeah, he definitely had the pace to hold the lead had he managed to keep it off the line. Oh well.

How was that weaving around by Hamilton down the straight with the Renault slipstreaming him!?

you think what happened to Webber on pits is was done deliberately to give the victory to Vettel?
If you look at the slow motion you can see the finger did not press the trigger to tighten up the nut.

    LOL, a conspiracy theory???

I think vettel is a better driver than Webber and deserved the win. but I think Webber did a great race yesterday, only mucking up the all-important start

How about Alonso driving the whole race with a stuffed clutch and gearbox and still fighting for 8th place with Button only for engine failure on the last lap. Shows how good he is there, so unlucky there though.
    Cheers,
