    Who said F1 is boring?

Still a major issue with passing, webber and hamilton were flying but just couldn't get passed! we need fatter tyres and less aero asap! A stack of mechanical grip will sort it out I think.

agreed was a great race to watch.

Poor Vettel. He should be on his way to running away with the championship about now!
Webber showed some real speed. In the end it Hamilton was holding him up as well as the Ferraris. Bit of red mist I think though... Was interesting to hear his interview afterwards when he said he was not interested in 6th position. wanted to overtake

    Each and every lap

LOVED the race. Couldn't quite believe I was there for the first few laps. First half hour was non-stop action. It's really something else being there in the atmosphere and seeing the cars with your own eyes. Absolutely worth every penny!!! Will definitely be going again over the next few years!!!!

You would've been right on top of the first corner drama when it happened!
Great race to watch, though i do miss the re-fuelling stops and everything that goes with it!

    Cheers,

I agree. There wasnt too much jostling of the race order. Not much strategy at all really. Tyres can only play so much of a part. Still, it was a fab race and I'm looking forward to what Malaysia can bring! It's usually pretty wet there so tyre choices will play an even bigger part then they did yesterday.

Just got home to Sydney. Awesome weekend had in melbourne. Great city and what a great race yesterday. So much excitement. Was dissapoiunted that Webber didn't get up but great action none the less.

Flew back Jetstar today and was pretty annoyed to find out that we were on an International flight to Sydney but then went looking for lunch and the bar in the international terminal in Melbourne was home to Mercedes Petronas GP, Red Bull Racing, HRT, Williams and BBC while waiting for their flight to Malaysia. A few faces i recognised but couldn't put names to. Only driver i saw was Karun Chandhock. Ross Brawn was there too.

Has anyone noticed how much pressure seems to be put on Webber by some Australians? For example yesterday there was a question asked by one of the ONE HD reporters asking Webber if he thinks "this is his year". A lot of similar questions and comments were posed to him throughout the broadcast. They're expecting too much from him - should just leave the guy alone.
