Boring as! IMO anyway. I'm not a fan of street circuits. If those drivers didn't have piles before the weekend, they probably do now after all the bouncing around on the rough roads. And having the race at night doesn't make it any more of a spectacle if there's no-where for the drivers to overtake.

I really thought Webber would do better but it seems he's regressing to his old ways.

It seems Brawn is going to supply this years champ. I just hope Rubens can do enough to pip Jenson as I really can't stand the thought of the commentators rabbiting on about Jenson being champ. Damn bias Pom commentators! If they're going to impose the commentators on the world broadcast, the least they could do is make them impartial.

Webber lucked out a bit, he got bumped back two spaces for the pass on alonso and then the safety car came out a few laps after he had pitted so that didn't work for him as everyone who hadn't pitted jumped him.

He always seems to have some bad luck.

I really hope he get a better year next year. But with the Renault is out of the race for 2 years they going to have a problem what engine they going to have… Street race is ok if you have place to overtake but Singapore is worst than Monaco, and night race is only favouring the poms during race so it’s not too late over there. I think they should bring Imola, and Canada. Canada is a street race but you can over take.

This weekend race will be more exciting that Singapore. We’ll soon find out.

you also have to feel sorry for rosberg, his pit lane exit error should have cost around 27 seconds, but because he had to do it at the tail of a safety car, it sent him all the way to the back of the pack

Dull race. Pitty about webbers brakes giving up. Not really his fault as alot of the field had brake issues towards the end.

Next is japan on my favourite circut (100's of laps in forza2). Look forward to it!

Renault is not out for 2 years. They have a suspended 2 year ban, which will only come into action if they make another serious misdemeanour, which is highly unlikely.

Did anyone notice the sudden lack of sponsor ship on the Renault cars on the weekend? Tsk tsk.

Yes i did, they better be good in the next 4 races, other wise going to have a bad reputation.

How is that for a news Alonso is moving to ferrari next year, it would be a good season next year.

Sad about Kimi. dont know if he has a drive next year.

That's what happens when you get caught cheating. ING the team's major sponsor pulled out as well as another major sponsor. More may have pulled the pin as well. I actually laughed about it last monday when they had the results of the WMC meeting with the bans, fines etc on Ten Sports and then they went to an ad break which started with ING.

It will be interesting to see if they can recover now at all with the loss of Alonso as well.

    Cheers,

Good chance Kimi will be back at McLaren.
In a battle for out and out pace Kimi is the fastest guy bar none. However he is not the complete racer.

In my opinion since Schumi left Alonso has been and still is the best racer out there. His pace is good, he can put in consistent laps, he is good technically and he can develop a car.

Both Hamilton and Kimi fall down on many of these points (Kimi especially).

McLaren and Ferrari have both struggled with car development in recent times. With McLaren only just starting to recover now from poor/slow development since about mid last year.

The reason the McLaren was so dominant for the better part of last year was due to the development influence the year before from Alonso. Hamilton may get better as his career progresses and he gets more experience but Kimi just seems to have never been really interested or able to give good feedback.

My 2c on a number of things but yeah. It's a shame proper testing isn't allowed anymore.

    Cheers,
    Trent
