Another VW to F1 report...
Volkswagen considering F1 | F1 News | May 2010 | Crash.Net
This really is great news i reckon. I just hope they supply engines to a major player for a few years, rather than jump straight into running their own team. I'd hate to see a Vag team fighting it out with Hispania or Virgin Racing atthe rear of the grid...
I've been a bit ****ty that BMW left to be honest. I thought it was a bit soft that they only ran their own team for a few years.
Beemer had too higher hopes to really achieve well in F1. It takes more then a few years to get a team sorted, find the right drivers and start winning consistently. They pulled the pin far too early.
F1 practice today in Turkey. Nothing much to report from what I've read. Looking forward to quali and the race :)
another pole to webber:banana::banana:
YYYEEAAAAHH!! Thats pole #4 this year. Its going to get veeerrry interesting from now on at Red Bull.
If they win the constructors c'ship before the end of the season, but the driver's title is still up for grabs, Vettel & Webber may remove the gloves!
I missed the Qually lastnight but seems like Webber had all the answers again! he is on a roll at the moment I bet Vettel is really feeling it!
Vettel is complaining of another failure on his car. Hopefully they have it sorted for the race.
Will be an interesting turn 1. I reckon Hamilton will do his best to muscle his way in first.
Yeah Vettel seems to have inherited Webber's luck from prior seasons. Looks like a broken suspension component or some such as he kept locking up on his last run. Still a good performance though.
Cheers,
Trent
he was complaining of brake issues... once bitten twice shy following brake issues in Spain .. Personally it sounds like RBR are trying to develop new brake technology to keep up with Seb's style, but its actually slowing him down.
Mark hasn't had any of the brake issues that Vettel has been having, must be his style not pushing the car as hard.
The same thing is happening with tyres on the Mclaren, Button is such a smooth driver he is lasting longer than Hamilton.
