Woohoo Webber on pole nearly 3 tenths up on Kubica and 4 tenths up on vettel, this is 6 races in a row Red Bull have pole and it's even 3 a piece for Webber and Vettel.

Since spain Webber has looked like he has stepped it up a notch for sure and he is being really reserved about it in interviews you can see Vettel is annoyed by it all which is great.

I have been picking that up in the interviews as well. How pissed off is vettel getting when webber is beating him.
Webber has always been competitive at Monaco. Just never been able to come away with the final result. Hopefully he can do it tonight. I know ill be watching!

Yea he's in form and something seems to have sparked a real shift in his mindset by the looks of it. He's stopped getting nervous and doubtful and looks to have realised he is good enough to be champ, and deserves it too.

I think part of it is just realising this is possiblby his last chance of achieving a life goal of being WC. He's pulled out all the stops and is just enjoying being able to drive such a beautiful car!

I'll be watching tonight, "for sure".

Ha Ha, Vettel lost again. What a fantastic race, plenty of battles going on through the pack.

    Webber is on fire!

If it wasn't for the safety cars he would have been about 40 seconds in front, so a completely dominant race once again.

I think his confidence will be lifted even further from this win for sure, bet Vettel is feeling the pressure even more now!

outstanding result - pure dominance even with the safety cars ganging up on him. well done Webber.

I had my heart in my mouth that last lap, hoping that webber wouldnt trip up on the last corner (like ALonso did LOL LOL LOL)

Looks like Schumacher has been penalised for that pass on Alonso, drive through so has had 20 seconds added to his time dropping him back to 12th.

It seems that in the situation of the safety car pulling in on the last lap the race technically finished under the safety car conditions so no passing is allowed.

thats a bit of a harsh penalty given the circumstances. The situation was pretty unclear. Even the commentators thought that overtaking was allowed at that point.
I wonder if Damon Hill being on the review panel made any difference

Do you think it has anything to do with what they were talking about in the commentary about Massa looking to join Red Bull next year?

Amazing race last night, i cringed everytime the Safety Car came out and the field bunched back up again...stellar race by Webber!

hehe, different part of the race, but how bad must the lotus mechanic feel about stuffing up 2 RHS rear tyre changes in a row last night? Did he use the same faulty gun twice? Or was it just him?

    Cheers,

    Jayse.
