ive never rated fisichella as a good driver.
He's quick on a good day, but seems very inconsistent. he also seems to lack the winning spirit. over many years ive often heard team radio telling him to focus and pull his finger out, and then he goes quicker - like he didnt have his heart in it
**EDIT - 1000 POSTS j:j:j:***
"I reckon it was pretty exciting but were they showing you the full race or chopped up higlights?
Don't know if it overtakes the V8's tho. "
i think they are chopped races and they run on v6 i think the cheve is the only v8, and it's a mix up of fron and rear wheel drive. but the race it self is preety good.
I think he doesn't have the balls to overtake. catching in one thing and passing is another. ther is a lot of time fisi could've past kimi or close enough to get slip strim but could not pass him, i know kimi has the KERS, but in some part of the track fisi has the pace to pass him. i think he's heading the same part of badoer very soon. getting old.
how is that for a news, fisi is driving for ferrari for the rest of the the season.
WOW. Yeah, that is a bit of a surprise to me. I thought the talk was just that and nothing more. I'm unconvinced it's a good move though. I'd much rather see a young up-an-comer take over and then be one of the development drivers next season. Oh well.
The thing is with putting an up and comer in with no mid season testing is that they will be just another Badoer on the track.
Also an Italian driving a Ferrari at Monza... the Tifosi will be going bonkers.
bit OT, but local media is reporting that Perth driver Daniel Ricciardello, who is currently leading the British F3 championships, has just scored a test F1 drive with Red Bull.
Who knows, might see two aussie drivers in Red Bull in the next year or two?
Cool, might see him slot into Toro Rosso.
Vettel and Webber are both signed on for a couple more years yet.
i doubt he would race straight away, at best he could expect to be a test driver initially.
Interestingly, there is a high correlation between F3 champs who ultimately become F1 champs...
