Hmmmm.
I may be very wrong, or just hoping it won't happen, but my gut instincts just tell me somethings up. I dont trust Schui. I reckon he's been approached by the governing body and organised some kind of deal with F1 where he is playing the media and creating hype for a comeback, when really it's just a ploy to generate ticket sales to get people back to the races.
If they think there's a possibility he'll race people will buy tickets.
When I was at Spa this year you should've seen the Schumacher fans that turned out after buying tickets thinking it was gonna be his comeback race!!

There's probably already been a heap of tickets bought by Schui hopefuls.

I'm not a fan of the guy's tactics and poor attemps at denying them, but I actually would like to see a comeback just for one more season now it's not with Ferrari.
Adds a whole heap of new possibilities and will be sweet seeing him fight the Buttons, Hamiltons, Rosbergs, Webbers and Vettels who all now have competitive cars!

lol revhead, I was always a big mansell fan, but when he made his comeback, he didnt fit in the car due to those extra kgs he'd gained.

Maclaren had to build him a special big car and his return didnt last too long.

having said that, I believe schumi is still at the pinacle of his fitness so no issues there

Im a big fan of him even though he can be a dirty racer sometimes, but i realy think he still have the edge to race. And i think if he end up racing it's going to be a 1 year contract.

Just been confirmed ... Schumi will be at Mercedes GP next year. 1 season contract signed yesterday in the UK.

I for 1 will be there to cheer him on. Have always been a Schumi fan .... at the latest (2 weeks agao) Race of Champions he easily beat Button in the final.

He's the greatest F1 driver of all time .... :eek:

This should be excellent!! I must admit to not liking him and loved the rise of Lewis / Brawn / Vettel / Red Bull / Button etc but having Michael back will be great to watch! :banana:

a nice 1 year contract to get the support up for the team and f1 again and then he'll move aside for Seb Vettel when his contract is up at Red Bull for the 2011 season.

Looking forward to seeing him on the track in Melb next yr.

Am really gunna try to make the Melb GP this year, wanted badly to go last year but didnt have the funds, this time my savings are well on their way :)

i think it's going to be a great race weekend and a great season, with lot's of new and good driver on the grid. Looking forwad to see Shumi and Hamilton head to head. i beat TAB is going to be busy next year.
