I would have to agree matty, pretty boring race. But i did kind of like the track.

Only exciting part was the last few laps with Button hunting down Webber like there was no tomorrow.

Button is THE MAN. I really like the dude. I'd love to knock back a few with the guy. So very laid back, just a cool as dude. Amazing that somebody can be like that in the 24/7 ****storm that F1 seems to be these days. A true testament to his character!

    I enjoyed watching that race!!

No idea who was going to do well, hamilton pulling out kept it all interesting

the last half dozen laps watching Webber defend against button was really great to watch!!

True, true, the last few laps were awesome but the rest of the race was pretty dull. Kinda sad its all over now. Bring on Melb 2010!!

I've already booked my 'roadtrip' to Melb 2010 via JetStar. Can't wait for next year. After going to Melb this year for my first F1 i've been that much more into it this season.

Also just read that Toyota have pulled out for next year! I hope Koboyashi gets a drive somewhere. Seems to have a bit of agro and ambition.

Kob has some mean Japanese warrior spirit!!!!

I'm very keen on going to the Melb GP next year but probably cant do a road trip sadly.

Just read that Toyota have confirmed they're leaving. Thats sad but it means sauber gets back in!

I think with honda, bmw and toyota leaving we will see the F1 dissolve in short amount of time to be replaced by something more cost effective and with less restrictions.

I am hoping we will see some sort of F1 meets WTCC but i doubt it, probably just a watered down F1.

Toyota pulling out would explain why Williams was so keen to drop their engines for next season.

I'm up for going to melbourne next year for sure.

8 years, 139 starts and no wins and one of the highest spending teams in the paddock.
As with Honda all this shows is that once again the Japanese have failed to realise that you can't micro manage a European based team from Japan (especially when you don't really have a clue in the first place).
Have to say I have no sympathy for their failure. Their lack of any kind of any kind of passionate or exciting road going car in their lineup for the entire F1 endeavour shows it was only ever a marketing tool to them and not about the love of the sport.

Hopefully Sauber can now get back in.

    Cheers,
    Trent
