    Saw this from pictures at a Lakeside sprint



    Don't know the story behind it but apparently everyone is OK (well, maybe not the wallet)

    jeez they're lucky they walked away from that. Its pics like that that would make me baulk at wearing a HANS device if I don't have a cage. nasty.

    HANS can only be used with a full harness and a cage

    That is actually a pretty good reflection of the relative stiffness of moderns over cars from the eighties and earlier, they would have been pancake flat
