Hi all, looks like my club veedub membership is taking a while to process and without it I can't purchase my CAMs license. They said I can bring my membership payment receipt down on Sat but can I purchase a CAMs license on the day? Cheers

Damn, and I happen to be in Nowra this week and next. Gotta go back tonight to pick up a car I'll be using for tack days. I'll bring it down to Wakefield in the next couple of months.

Off topic - Is Speed of the street's the best way to get track time on wakefield, or are there better alternatives? PM me if appropriate.
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII

Thanks Chris and Club VeeDub for organising another great event. The weather was great, the field was varied and interesting, it was a good honest day of motorsport.

My laps last year would have been good for 48th lol.

He was still in development last year, the car wasn't really ready. Apparently he has run time attack events in it now. There are extra wing bits on it, the rear lower one is pretty wild. Funnily enough it isn't insanely fast on the straight, I was on the straight with him, but as soon as he gets to the end of the straight you could see the aero working, he was like a guided missile. What a weapon. I think its a 1.6l turbo because he comes in under 3l after you do the forced induction multiplication.
