So this is were all the fast R golfs are hiding , Im Erik from Northern Sweden and i have a semi fast R golf my self.
Mine has so far gone 12,71@177kmh full interior and 19" stock wheels.

    Engine modification list:

    2010 Golf R DSG

Full Milltek turboback with HJS 200cell high flow catalytic converter
    Eurojet Intercooler Mk6
    VF K04 big intake
    Autotech HPFP
    RS4 FPR

My goal is to eliminate current time with this setup on 98ron and then use my second GIAC extreme race setup with VP racefuel and chase a high 11sec run.

Racerapport will follw after this weekend

So no one else has a time or knows of any times for a 6spd manual R with a standard turbo?

    Nice Work Eric

177kmhr is pretty much 110mph which means theres some decent power happening. You have the permanent advantage over there of cooler temps and better fuel so you should be able to get some good times for sure, especially as your running DSG
I was sort of near there in Copenhagen 10 days ago and there's certainly some nice cars around. we'll have to chase your times most likely

Its very hard to produce or reproduce a consistent time in a manual. The terminal MPH you can for sure but the times will be all over the place as there's just too many driver related variables. In theory its should be in line with the DSG's but in reality it will be a few tenths behind. There will be a few around soon though

    Racerapport Sweden.

    This day really SUCKS!!!
Everything seemed perfect for racing exept the weather a bit to hot 22 deg celcius but what the F*** that was a minor problem today.

I could only do one tryout and then we had enginetrouble rest of the day, I had a seriuos lack of power and it might be ignition coil related or maybe something else also, its seems to pressure oil backwords in to the valvecover thoug in was leaking oil for the oilfylling cap??

And i did NOT beat FabR:s time today but it was very close and to bad that i could not try it more than once.

BUT it was still the fastest time in europe for an R Golf and very close to Fabs time, and another GIAC golf under 12,5 sec.
For me now is to find out what went wrong and i will not do any more attempts this year i think if we dont find an easy solution (witch i hope fore)

Best regards / Erik disapointed swede

PS full interior and 17" wheels

One more thing by the way, if i had the DSG update so i could use a proper launch control it would be able to run really fast i 60feet and looking at Fabs time he has a great starttime 60foot im losing 1/10 sec already there so i have to take a look at HPA
    Keep on tuning over there/Erik
