Best time of 13.86 @ 118.92 mph in a Golf Mk1 gti Turbo. 165/15 road tyres.
Way to much wheelspin, but thats fwd fun........

118mph? That doesn't add up mate. What were your MPH's on the other passes?

118 Doesnt add up. Thats what the timeslip showed. Had a look at the other slips and they are from 101 mph to 109 mph. Missprint on timeslip.
How come it doesnt add up?

So your other runs were 109 MPH? How many did you do? I have never seen a time slip show a false figure before.
With some sticky ET radials to chop that 60' time back a fair bit and a perfect run you should get into the low 13's Tom

I think Preen mean that the mph is to high for the time?
I mean no offense, But Heathcote often gives incorrect MPH's.
Putting on nearly 36mph after half track is dipping into 9-10 sec stuff. 102-109mph is still pretty awesome (you're making over 200hp to get that), but i'd say 118hp is wrong.
