Hey guys, went to a Test and Tune at willowbank race way (QLD). my first time on the strip. quite dissapointed with my times but ill post the up anyways. The launch is so hard, completely underestimated drag racing. Any tips greatly appreciated!

    Most people do..

The trick is to not shock the driveline off the mark.

Let the clutch slip slightly as the tree comes down, don't just dump the clutch and floor it off the mark. This loads the drive train. When the light goes green, the trick is to balance the throttle and clutch together off the line to keep the boost up, keep the engine in a good power range and not overpower the track, breaking into wheelspin. Once that's out of the way it's pretty straight forward.

Those times aren't that bad, dude.

The 2.2 60 ft is not bad at all, remember the DSG's are about half a seccond quicker.

Poor fellas - Got to love Heathcote where the marshals beg you to do more runs (via the announcer) as they get bored! I was there last time for 2 hours and done 7 runs, I parked for a while in between too
