Lol, based on this I cant drive (0.8s slower). haha
My best to date is 13.5 at around 106-107. I think i need to learn how to launch the manual a bit harder. I also think that the extra gear change is hurting my time.

We were there watching all the Golf R's run down the strip, and our spotter recorded most of the times.
The Viezu car ran 105mph (168kmph) according to the journalist - it bogged down on the first launch (or two) and then it had a really nice (non bogged one) which was its best time. There certainly was no wheel spin issues, the last run it hooked up nicely.
I must have checked with them 6 times now - 188km/h...
The car didn't bog on either run - hopefully the comparative 0-100 time can demonstrate that enough in any event. I think maybe you're getting mixed up with another one of the R's?
I'm hoping there's some footage of it.
Certainly everyone else I've asked who was there at the time of our runs recall it spinning all 4 before it would hook up.
He also told me all runs ran the same 13.2 (and 188 trap speed)
It's that lightweight CF bonnet !
Sexiness.
To be honest that does sound more realistic, but we are wrecking Jasons Time Slip only thread ( apologies again!! ) so time to let it be people. The truth always comes out in the end, let's leave it till cars / tunes can be run again etc etc, something I indeed intend to do for my own curiosity amongst other things.
New one for Jason:

Thanks Fab - appreciate it!
Nice work, I knew you guys were up to something.
Great work Guy, now put it in the format on the first page as I am trying to do up an easier way to keep these times. :D
