Should be same as early GTI Ibizas and Early 1994 Model VR6s.
A friend of mine has an ABS Pump from a 95 Seat Toledo just kicking about.
Just wondering if there are any other models that this pump might suit in case he decides to sell it. Its different to the mk3 vr6 pumps i have seen and looking at the parts thingo this seems to be cos our vr6s had EDL.
I think the part number was 1H2 614 117 A. I dont have access to the ETKA/ETOS at the minute (lost my cd hehe)
Did any other seat models come with ABS? or perhaps mk3 non vr6 models?
Just looking to find out what it might suit so we can flog it off.

yeah when i first saw it i thought it was the same as the early VR6 ones. But on further investigation the early australian market ones had EDL. And the part number for them is 1H2 614 217 A.
Did some research on these things recently. From my perspective of interest it will fit a 4 cylinder Passat from July 95 through to mid 96.
Certain mid 90's Volvo 850's, Renault Laguna's and a few (larger European) Ford's have them - basically whatever the Teves Mk IV ABS system was fitted to - was just never able to establish whether the valving was the same or not.
I sourced one in the UK just after Christmas, going rate was 40 quid for pt # 117 and 50 quid for pt # 217 (approx $100 and $125 respectively) confirmed working, with exchange warranty and complete with fittings, flexible hoses and valve unit.
If it definitely works, is the complete unit and your mate wants to flog it I'd give him $100 to have one sat on the shelf - they are renound for being very fragile!!!!
How did your friend come across it Tim?
it was taken from a damaged car that he was stripping.
it was a jan 95 build toledo with very light front end damage. its amazing how little damage it takes to write off a seat.
It could still have been a repairable writeoff. Its a shame to wreck the good ones. I have one here that needed a bonnet, grille and radiator and which was written off! I`m repairing it atm, it has 120,000kms and is like new inside.Originally Posted by Tim
Its cos the panelbeaters have to use new parts, which cost a bomb, but resale values are low as.
