I agree with all of the above. The standard exhaust is very good. My mate spent over $1,000 on a cat back and gained maybe 2kW. Interestingly he bought a $60 Superchip off EBay and dynoed, it gave an extra 2 KW. I got one as well and although minor you could feel the difference mid range.
I went with KW V2 coilovers and I am very happy with them. I have them on the highest (height) setting and softest shock setting and it is great. Wind the rebound up and it will shake your fillings out. You will have to spend over $2,000 for them though. A good set of slightly lowered springs and Konis or Bilstein shocks will do the trick.
My Beeza in that configuration was as quick around Queensland Raceway as my chipped Polo GTI on standard suspension on a hot afternoon.
