    Project Changz:

ive opened a thread for me to post pictures of my car as i attempt to
'make it nice' new wheels, body changes, interior, stereo components and also fitting my gearbox,
    comments are more than welcome.....
my car didnt move from this spot, outside my girlfriend's house,
for ten months....until they put a sticker on it telling me to 'move it or lose it'
(not in those exact words, but you know what i mean)

i decided it was time for me to get it to my place anyways,
as i wanted to get it fixed relatively soon.

so now its in my driveway collecting pine needles
waiting for the gearbox, then it will be straight to get a roadworthy(unregistered for too long)

the next lot of pictures will be fitting the gearbox,
then i plan to get some new wheels, window tinting and lowering...
    comments welcome!

Looks very straight mate. Bigger wheels, Sand and paint the bumpers and get some foglights and It`d look like a GTI.

LOL i was trying to find out if the front and rear bars off a newer cordy(not crappy black plastic)would fit....
but if i will get the same look from sanding and painting, i will do that, but im assuming id have to get a full respray as the color would be hard to match..

this one is my girlfriends barina gsi, it 'WAS' pretty nice, but i crashed it quite
bad and all the bodywork was beaten up a bit(and the rest lol)

The later bumpers bolt onto different guards, so you have to change heaps of things. Much cheaper to just get your bumpers sanded and painted. They come off with about 6 bolts each. I dont reckon you`d be paying more than a few 100 bucks to get em professionally sprayed.

and talk like i know how to do it myself and i just cant be bothered so that they dont OVERCHARGE me......LOL

You can use that new clutch that you have there.
I have 2 red wingmirrors to match your car, as I`m wrecking a red ibiza atm.

There is a wreck on my lawn going for scrap tomorrow. I`ll pull the rear bumper clips off for you. Do you mean the ones on the car? or on the bumper?

There are many bits inside the door. Do you know what is wrong with your one? The lock mechanism and eccentrics are unique to the 2 door beeza and are made from unobtanium. I have several mechanisms from 5 door cars that wont work!
