You might have dislodged a plug somewhere. It's still connected but not making a very good contact on all terminals.
Try unplugging all electrical connectors and replugging. Might clear up the cold start problem.
Cheers

Hey Fellas!
Yesterday I was driving my 95 Ibiza GTi along quite casually, when I hit a bump and all of a sudden the accelerator decided it didn't want to do anything, and the car lost revs, came to a stop and stalled. I immediately started it back up and it drove away very normally and I've experienced no further issues!
I have no idea what may have caused it. However recently its had a bit of a cold start issue. Any hazard guesses?

I've since discovered my dissy cap was pretty badly worn out. So it's been swapped out and cold start issue doesn't exist.
Interestingly, I haven't had the car lose power since. I keep thinking it might have been lightning. I was driving through a thunder storm.
