just wanted to now if it's safe buying a cupra, when it comes to parts.
not just service parts(brakes,oil changes)
but spares like interior parts or exterior parts, door handles, body panels, headlights, rear lights.
thanks

Hi George, welcome.
I've had my cupra since new in 99, mechanically i've had no problems finding parts, not that I've needed many. Body parts might be a different question but you've found the right forum for help. There are some very dedicated vw/seat people on this forum.
update your location, it will make it easier to point you in the right direction.
cheers

Yeah George Cupras are good cars. Solid and Sporty. Dont dismiss the 8v GTI, easier driving and more fun in my book.
Most parts that crossover with VW are easy to get, I stock lots of SEAT second hand stuff, or ebay.
Update your location mate and welcome..

is it true that some parts like head lights and rear lights are the same as the vw polo,or is it that the seat cupra just uses the polo chasis.
Yep its the same chassis but almost every body panel is SEAT. The bonnet is same as a polo.
so how would you get on if somebody damaged your head light or rear lense.
or panel damge,is there spares around?
will insurance company's insure this car for full comp?![]()
