    Found on road dead

After 2 and a half years the Ibiza has let me down for the second time.

Looks like the coil has quit on me. Waiting on the RAA for a tow.

Expressions of sympathy gratefully received as my tea has gone cold!

You don't carry a spare coil in the toolbox? Obviously you've never owned a Mk1 Golf.

At least a dead coil is real easy to troubleshoot and replace.

Had loads of MK1s, never had a bung coil on one.

Got a ride home with the RAA man and stole the coil off the Toledo.

Started straight away. RAA man said it was a pleasure watching me work!!

Warming up my tea in the microwave now.

I'm still stoked on the time I blew the oil breather off beating an XR6T & you diagnosed the problem over the phone *

I've not had a prob with my Mk1. (Touch laminated wood veener)

Breaking down twice isn't too bad. i remember my brother's first car (Hillman Hunter) broke down on each of the first 3 days he had it, and then many times thereafter
