Hi to all,
I recently purchased a Seat Cordoba privately and it seems like everything has gone wrong!!
Im not at all knowledgeable in cars, but my Dad is, when he has time... To save him time i have decided to investigate myself. So please excuse my lack of knowledge but...
The back seat window falls down and both left and right rear power windows don't work- does this mean I need a new window regulator? The clutch cable has to be pulled up so that I can actually put her into gear... New clutch cable possibly? or Something to keep it where it should be? There is a water leak, a petrol leak and the other day when I put the key in the lock I snapped it.... It would seem this has already happened to the passenger door, so we can't just swap it over.... So new door handles or just the lock?
From reading this forum it seems these are all fairly common problems with the Seat Cordoba... Could someone please give me some advice on where to start looking for parts????
Thanks,
Alysha

I recommend Sebastian at Euro Automotive in Girraween (0410541322), he specialises in VW Audi and Seat and is one of the very few who were specifically trained with Seat...

I would also recommend Matt @ Camden GTI, he has been great in keeping my Cordoba happy.
Once you fix the issues you have it should be very reliable
They are a great car and fun to drive, just done 4,000km in the last 2 weeks on my 96cordy and all good, including massive hill climbs through the snowy mountains, drove it to melbourne for Christmas and also down to Canberra as a seperate trip, no issues.

If you have a chance, post up a pic of your car - there are only so many of them around - someone on here may already know about it.
