Rear bearings done... piece of cake.
Strangely enough the "clicking" has disappeared as well.
We do have a "clunk" on the drivers side front when turning the steering wheel, though, lol.
Looks like my weekend won't be as free as I thought...
Strut mount is normal as Jimmy says.
I had a bung inner CV in my Toledo, nasty, nasty clicking noise. Took it off and there was no grease in it at all. All the bearings fell out on the floor.....
Had a replacement CV in the shed off my A3. Nice and quiet now.

check the main axle nut, Cordy Roy he he BOTH sides
if loose the whole wheel & brakes slide a bit at low speed!
also a loose battery can be an annoying clunk in these at low speed sharp turns.
