I was just wondering if anybody here has replaced the brake master cylinder on a Ibiza Cupra GTi. I know Laz has but he is not clear on the details of which one he used. The standard has a 22.2mm bore and he went up one size to 23.8mm. The pedal has always been long ie it goes down a long way before you start to get braking.
I don't know if this is normal. Perhaps Cupra GTi you could answer this as you have owned yours from new. Anyway my desire is to try to get the pedal feel closer to that of My Polo GTI. It appears that my master cylinder is due for replacement. Does anyone know if kits are available for them? Or has anyone purchased a new master cylinder recently? I have had a look on Ebay but can't find anyting that looks compatible.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
