Thanks for the info Andych, I might look back into the tune option again then![]()
Yeah I had that issue with my mkv gt tdi...cardon filter kept clogging up and sending it into limpola mode...vw told us ur not driving it properly. ..long story short after repeated issues and involving the ceo of vw they swapped it for a mkvi tsi...they never did solve the issue.
Thanks for the info Andych, I might look back into the tune option again then![]()

The ride quality is about the same, I think there is only about 9mm drop in Side wall to the road.
235*40 to 255*30
I haven't really noticed it too much, I do think that my tyres might be softer as they are rated high for comfort on the Michelin website.
Hey Andych,
Agreed that it is a different issue, I am just at a stage I can't accept a no fault found any more.
They did that that no fault found twice with my windows and now twice with my DSG/Power issue.
The last time it happened, it really did shake my confidence and really think if it will get me injured or worse.
Reading the story made me realise that my issue is not just an annoyance, it really needs more attention then that.
The problem here also is that I expect this to be a sports car and I drive it as such. If I wanted a softly softly driven car I would have gotten an Up![]()
post up your lowered roc's.
springs &/or Coilovers.
feedback on ride comfort, ACC compatible, stance, cost & overall/10..
im looking to bring mine down from monster truck stance to something more aggressive and would like to see other members opinions and advice
Since we're on the topic of tunes( about 6posts ago) anyone here done REVo with VWVillage Kensington?
Any feedback on them? They're the closest to where I live though many friends driving Golf r32 and gti are telling me to go GIAC at exoticars...I just wanna go stage 1...
I've gone through so many forum posts etc but they're all fanboy apr vs everyone threads.
So specifically...anyone has either Revo at VWV or Giac at Exoticars (Sydney) gimme some feedback?
Thanks guys and gals.
Hey Guys,
So I know there are a few threads around on suspensionhowever looking for some feedback.
Have been toying with the idea of lowering the scirocco, was originally ordering KW DDC coilovers however have, for the time being decided to spend that money elsewhere.
So am looking at spring replacements for the moment.
The Eibach springs have a height of 365mm front and 369mm rear from centre of wheel to middle of guard. Which, after measuring will actually raise my rocco 4-5mm *sad face*
Who has lowered their rocco with just springs? what did you get? how much lower did you achieve?
Thanks heaps!
You could also try posting in the Wheels & Suspension forum.

Ummm no.. the Eibach Pro-kit will lower your car around 15 to 20 mm overall.... Mine has them fitted and I am extremely happy with them.
The H&R springs go a bit lower but are apparently much firmer... ride quality etc is very much subjective, however I can honestly say that my Roc rides better with the Eibach setup than it did on the OEM springs.
There are plenty of pics of my car in here for you to gauge how it looks.. with the current wheel / tyre combo the rear looks a little high but that is just down to the different tyre sizes front to rear.
