42 Draft Designs (42DD) make a nice catch can for the 2.0TFSI engine in the Rocco R and Golf R. Check out here: 42DD catch can thread.
Funny you mention it. Here are some pics of the carbon buildup on a Golf R engine with 50,000km's on it. The car was 100% stock standard. As you would know, the Golf R engine is the exact same as what you have in your Scirocco R.

You can also use the Subaru upper engine cleaner (also Nulon have a cleaner and also Liqui Moly have one too) and spray that inside your inlet manifold (via the air temp sensor) and doing that every 6 months or so will help somewhat to the carbon buildup.
