So I have to leave at N when stop in front of traffic light so not sure where it comes from (with my very limited mechanical knowledge ), I suspect the mount hasn't been settled.
See what happens when you put the aircon on.
I had to return to the stock torque arm insert as the "upgraded one" made the car vibrate at the traffic lights and more so with aircon on.

walk can have more road noise/ vibrations, and the odd pot hole/ bump might be a bit noisier through the chassis. I had the walk on my wrx, but it had nice light alloy arms, certainly didn't notice anything extra ( first thing I noticed when getting the Golf was how much rougher it was on bumpy stuff).

Do you mind sharing where you got the Neuspeed intake from? I am considering getting one. Looks great in the engine bay with the matching engine cover.

Exactly! I had the aircon on all the way back home, perhaps that is the max vibration I can get. Is that normal? I saw a few members also got the HPA mount on their Scirocco/Golf R and seem to work well. Perhaps I am OK with changing gear to N when stop - bad habit from driving a manual car for 5 yrs

Surely not mind at all. Will PM you. Yes it is a great looking intake too with less fuel trimming issue I guess. There are two filter options. I opt for the paper filter.

On the HPA mount (75) vibration, I contacted Darryl at HPA HQ who looked after my order last time:

"Some things we have experienced with these mounts:

-If the mount is rotated slightly too much towards the driver side of the
car, it can make the passenger side part of the mount contact the dog bone,
    and cause additional vibration

-I'd also let the mount sit for a few days of normal use before determining
the level of vibration, I know these mounts do settle in a bit over time
    "

I actually feel the vibration is much less today after a 120km trip to Central Coast. I think I would just give it a couple of weeks to settle in.

I got 36,000. I did swap the front and the back a little while ago. I think I could have gotten 40K from them.
