    Wow.... a lot of discussion going on about springs!

    RoccoR, I've got a set of VWR springs that will be getting fitted to my rocco over the next couple of weeks so I can pass on my thoughts afterwards if you like? There's some horrible roads around Bendigo so I'll definitely know if the rides that little bit nicer haha

    I have 30-35mm H&R springs (Sourced: Orange Tuning in Germany) installed and don't really feel a whole lot of difference comfort wise to the stock setup tbh. Pretty decent for a driver's oriented car.

    I use the 'Sport' ACC mode the same amount as I did with the stock setup which is probably 95% of the time. Looks a lot better visually too.

    Definite Pros > Cons.. until I can justify the KW DCC system.

    Thanks to all for the feedback!! Much appreciated. This will definitely assist me in making a decision.
    1 Question i do have is how are u guys coping with clearance. She_dub said that she doesn't have too Many issues and simply takes driveways more on an angle than before. Any thoughts from the rest of u with springs?

    I can't even get mine across some of the driveways I need to in standard form!

    I will be be doing the springs though.
    Scirocco: Indium Grey, DSG, pana roof, Sat/Nav, Dynaudio, VWR springs and APR stage 1. Now sold
    Arriving April 17 Audi S3 sedan, Panther black, S-tronic, PP2, pano, matrix lights, assistance pack, 40:20:40 seats, mirror pack, light inlays

    I must admit I have scraped a couple of times on very steep driveways / ramps but now I am a lot more careful...
    You will also need to be careful when parking... especially in Melbourne with the taller gutters lol.
    I also find the concrete wheel strips in parking spots can be an issue... but reversing in fixes all of that

    Hmmm a bit of a sneak peak at what will be coming next for mine...



    6 pot Brembo 18Z Caliper from Q7 with 350 x 32mm slotted rotor. Still to source the braided lines and pads are most likely going to be Hawk.



    Final cost fitted and bled should be under $1500

    WHAT!!!! under $1500 installed???
    Where did u get this price? I paid $3k for mine (I'm running 355mm rotors cross drilled and slotted) but still! That's an incredible price.

    $500 for the Calipers (2nd hand), $240 for the rotors (single piece), $100 all up for paint and decals. The rest will be for pads, braided lines, fitting and bleeding plus any misc bits I need.... These will have the Factory wear indicators as well.

    The Calipers are OEM VAG made by Brembo and are fitted to Touareg, Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne.

    PS: Be very careful with your discs... Cross drilled discs are way more susceptible to cracking... and do absolutely nothing for cooling.

    Yeah I heard about that also. But I'm not planning to put that much heat into them. So far so good and I've had them for over 2 years.
