    Sales figures 2012

Thought this might be of interest:

    Scirocco sales rank 2012
    #155 (out of 296) 712

    And a top ten list:
    Australian sales figures for 2012 - Mazda3 best-seller, again - PerformanceDrive

I just googled the numbers, 712 sold in 2012, 99 dealers in Aust which is about 7 per dealer per year.

Just read the article... How they call the standard Veloster a sports car is beyond me. I;ve not driven the turbo yet but the standard one while looking sporty, drives like crap. Hugely underpowered and I couldn't extract enough out of it on my test drive to indicate that more power would make it any more fun a drive.

Driven both versions of the Veloster, neither had sufficient performance. The turbo gave no real performance feel. It just gave the car a much needed increase. This should be standard in my opinion.

Mercedes must be pleased with the C class coupe though- probably not a sports car either in most tunes but to knock off both the bMW 1&3 seires is a great result.

Not to mention, it's just plain ugly.

I see three every work day (all within one block, and surprisingly not near a dealer) - a lime green, matte grey and the other in a deep yellow... a passenger (colleague) once said it looked like a scirocco, he now walks to lunch
MY12 Scirocco R - slightly not stock

Funny, my sister said the same thing. She also prefers the RS250 (she's not a car person)
