Roof Rack / Roof Bars for Scirocco 2012+

Has anyone in the forum installed roof bars on their scirocco?

looking to see if you went Genuine or Aftermarket and your review/ ease of install/ advice.

Genuine from VW parts direct UK for $600 + shipping.

I haven't been able to find a viable option. The Saris rear rack is recommended on the UK forums and works well but I'm scared it will damage the paintwork.

Roofracks are possible but doesn't seem to be any solid recommendations. I saw the one from Micks but not sure if it's suitable

They’re from Micks garage

Surprisingly quick freight AU$30
Not expensive AU$247

And fitted on my2012

I did discover an odd effect at speed where the rubber contact patch flutters at resonance and I had to pop some small bits of foam tube which I’ll replace shortly wit strips of foam tape to absorb the flutter.
