I am thinking to sell the brand new Talladega rims (Silver) as soon as picking up the Scirocco from dealership on the day and have them refitted with the Ultraleggera rims but reusing the same tires (Assuming it can fit if ordered the 235/35 rims). I ordered the candy white and it looks much nicer with black rims (IMO), initially I thought to have the rims powder coated, but seems don't have a good deal for it if done by dealership (and also don't feel like leaving the car on rocks for few days when it is brand new for aftermarket!), with that amount of money if getting from dealership and a little more I could well owe the OZ ones (if could sell the Talladega ones well) which presumably are better performance and looking too? Really have no opinion on this, any advice would be very much appreciated!
Anyone would be interested in buying the brand new (99%) Talladega rims only?
Thanks,
Joe
(I personally prefer thinner spokes than the thick ones of Talladega though it has less)
Caractere CW1's look hot especially in the graphite colour.
But I think I'd rather get the rear apron + diffuser from this Scirocco!
Yeah, I also prefer a better diffuser than the stock one too.
In terms of the rims, thanks for forwarding the relevant thread! Anyone has experiences with OZ Ultraleggera rims? It looks pretty standout on the Scirocco too I think.
Hey I might have to claim copyright infringement on the avatar/username Rocco_R!
You have quite a bit of choice in terms of rim width with the Scirocco... my rears are 10 inch running 265x30x19 Continental 5P with an offset of 40.
There isnt much room but they dont rub at all.
I should have gone for 265x35x19 though...maybe a little down the track

What are you running on the fronts?
What is the widest tire that I could run on my stock 19" rims do u know? I'm looking for more traction at the front but also don't want to throw out the steering too much. (I know that if u go to wide at the front steering feel as ease is compromised).
