    phaeton's Trip to the Dealer Scirocco R Edition

    Yes have seen & conquered the Scirocco R before the end of year !
    Was even driven around the block by the Sales Manager in it, goes very well

    How was the ride???

    Thanks for the pics... But it looks like the car rides high. The official VW photos make seem lower...

    Spotted at VW South Yarra , VIC today (not sure how long they have had it for)



    Still haven't heard anything further on delivery of my R
    2012 - Scirocco R Candy White DSG , Sunroof + GPS.

    Not having seen it in the flesh but ftom photo's I can observe.

    Instrument layaout not like the Golf R - looks like any other WV

    The door trim doesnt allow a big drink bottle like the GOlf R

    The seat shape looks horrible

    happy to have my Golf R - wouldnt get me in the roc for the above reasons...oh and its not awd.....slip & slide all through winter.. actually thats what the R does...The roc will just spin and not move

    I guess you can't help it if you can't drive... perhaps the Rocco would just have too much power for you..

    Not really sure why you felt the need to come into this thread and start bagging the Scirocco...maybe you are jealous...

    Definitely not bagging the car- its a little ripper and there is nothing about it that remotely deserves bagging
    I was actually surprised to see a different instrument cluster and as for the door trims- I am now used to having the bigger slot for a drink but it's no deal breaker. Awd - just having some fun
